The best and most effective way to determine what AgGrand Organic Fertilizers should be used and how much of them you should use in a particular application, is to perform a soil analysis. To perform a soil analysis is very simple you can contact your local county extension office and get a soil analysis kit and then take the kit back to your local county extension office and they will do the soil analysis for you and send the results to you by mail, there may or may not be a charge for this service as some extension offices do soil analysis for free. Alternatively you may contact us for a soil analysis kit we would send you a kit free of charge, you follow the simple instructions on how to get soil samples and send the kit and a check or Money Order for $12.70 to Midwest Labs in Omaha Nebraska and they will send a copy of the analysis to you and one to AgGrand, AgGrand will review the analysis and send you a copy of the AgGrand Fertility Guide showing you which AgGrand fertilizer products to use, and how much of each.

Why is AgGrand better than other fertilizers?

AgGrand Natural Fertilizers have a lower NPK grade than chemical fertilizers do.  Does this mean that they are less effective than the chemical fertilizers?

Not at all!  In fact testing has demonstrated that AgGrand products are more effective than chemical fertilizers, because they stimulate the soil microbial activity, helping to process the nutrients, making them more available to plants.  Only 7-8% of most chemical fertilizers is utilized by the plant while the rest becomes run-off that can contaminate surface and groundwater.

You can use corn gluten meal as an organic weed preventative, Corn gluten meal has been shown to halt weed germination, but it must be applied before weed seeds take root. Applications should be done in the spring in most northern states. Remember that corn gluten meal will stop the germination of any grass seed as well, so do not use it if you are reseeding a lawn.

Just apply it as a foliar feed at 1-2 gallons per acre or 2-3 ounces per gallon 10 days after emergence, first flower, and/or during fruit fill (use the higher rate for heavy feeders and high value crops such as corn, tomatoes, potatoes, and melons). AGGRAND added at 1-2 gallons per acre to the spray tank will increase pesticide effectiveness, reduce pesticide application necessity by 1/3 to ½, and relieve the impact of stress inducing impacts as listed above.
